The short version
We collect the info you type into our estimate form so we can match you with one local roofer. We share it with that one roofer and nobody else. We don't sell your info, we don't spam you, and we'll delete it if you ask.
What we collect
- Contact details you provide: name, phone number, email address, and ZIP code from our estimate request form.
- Project details you provide: the type of roofing service you selected and which page you submitted the form from.
- What we don't collect: we don't run analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies on this site. We don't collect payment info — our service is free for homeowners.
How we use it
One purpose: connecting you with a single local roofing contractor who can give you a free estimate. When you submit the form, you're agreeing to be contacted about your request — by us and by the roofer we match you with.
Who sees your information
- The matched roofer: exactly one local roofing company receives your details so they can contact you about your estimate. Unlike lead-selling directories, your info is never blasted out to five companies at once.
- Our form provider: form submissions are processed by our website host in order to deliver them to us.
- Nobody else. We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information to data brokers, marketers, or anyone else, period.
How we make money (so there's no mystery)
Homeowners use 402 Roof Connect for free. Roofing contractors may compensate us for qualified estimate requests. That compensation never changes which roofer you're matched with — and you're always matched with just one.
Your rights
- See it: ask us what information we have about you.
- Delete it: ask us to delete it, and we will — including telling the matched roofer to delete it too.
- Stop contact: reply STOP to any text or click unsubscribe in any email and we'll stop.

How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests for up to 24 months so we can follow up on your project and improve our matching, then we delete them. If you ask us to delete sooner, we do it right away.
Security
Our site uses HTTPS encryption, and access to submissions is limited to us. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep it simple and locked down — your info isn't sitting in ten different marketing databases because we never put it there.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted here before they take effect.
